The Beginning
Brothers began trading at the end of 2003 providing cleaning services to Landlords in Dorset. The end-of-tenancy cleaning, removal and repair services was the core of the business and the expansion took place towards Southampton student market in 2005 when the business grew and soon Brothers had nearly a thousand properties maintained a year.
The Challenging
The collapse of the property market in 2007 caused struggle to many businesses in the industry and Brothers had an innevitable impact loosing half of the clients. Our strategy thereafter was to add other capabilities to the scope of services and Brothers started the office cleaning division and managing to achieve great results up until today with nearly one hundred offices around Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset cleaned on a daily basis.
Rebranding
Brothers expanded into other areas such as builders and sparkle clean to become one of the main providers in the London, Southampton and Bournemouth working with many major building contractors. The maintenance and facilities division came later in 2009 when Brothers spotted an opportunity to carry on the service once the project was finished. We believe to be one of the fastest growing cleaning and maintenance company in the South of England offering services to Residential and Commercial sites.
In December 2009 Brothers Cleaning Services was completely rebranded and the new company now called Brothers Services had a new website and trademarket.
High Standard
In early 2010 Brothers started having the support from Business Link to understand the best accreditations that would enhance our operation and therefore add more value to our client base. In February 2011 Brothers managed to achieve ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Today Brothers are investing on more staff training and gaining new markets such as London where we already have a good presence.
